Influencer Policies
1. Purpose
This policy outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and requirements for all influencers who collaborate with Sunset Ridge Apparel LLC through the influencer program.
By joining the program and accepting free items, commissions, or brand collaboration offers, each influencer agrees to these terms in full.
2. Content Requirements
Influencers are required to create the agreed-upon post(s) as discussed and approved by the brand.
Posts must feature the provided products clearly and align with the brand’s western lifestyle aesthetic.
Influencers must tag the brand’s official account and include any provided hashtags or captions.
Story posts and feed posts should be uploaded within the agreed timeframe (unless otherwise discussed).
Content should be authentic, respectful, and free of offensive or unrelated material.
3. Disclosure
All collaborations must comply with FTC guidelines and clearly disclose the partnership using tags such as:
#ad, #sponsored, or #partner
Failure to disclose partnerships may result in removal from the program.
4. Free Product Policy
Free items are considered gifts for promotional purposes, not direct compensation.
Acceptance of free items requires completion of the agreed post(s).
If an influencer accepts free items and fails to post, the brand reserves the right to:
- Request the return of the items, or
-Take legal or financial action to recover the value of the products.
5. Commission & Payment
- Influencers earn 5% commission for each sale tracked through their unique discount code or referral link.
- Payments are made on a [monthly/biweekly] schedule.
- Commission is calculated based on net sales, excluding taxes, discounts, and shipping fees.
6. Brand Representation
- Influencers are expected to represent the brand positively and professionally.
- The brand reserves the right to terminate the partnership immediately if an influencer engages in behavior that could harm the brand’s image or contradict its values.
- The influencer may not claim to be an employee or spokesperson of the brand.
7. Termination
- The brand may end a partnership at any time if terms are violated or performance is inconsistent.
- Termination may result from:
- Failure to post after receiving free products
- Breach of content guidelines
- Offensive, controversial, or inappropriate public conduct
8. Legal and Ethical Conduct
- Influencers agree to follow all laws, regulations, and advertising standards.
- Any attempt to manipulate sales tracking, falsify engagement, or mislead followers will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of commissions.
9. Agreement Acceptance
By submitting the influencer application, accepting free products, or posting content for the brand, the influencer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
